Description
Production changes:
Bubble: Original photographs showed the glass bubble at the tip of Cinderella's fingers. For production, the glass bubble was moved into her palm to prevent breakage.
Bubbles in Bucket: Larger bubbles in Steamboat wheel markings, fill the bucket; smaller ones in treble clef markings, take up less space.

Cinderella (with Bubble), Lucifer and Bruno were part of the 1st introductions of the Walt Disney Classics Collection in 1992.
Special Note: Regarding the color variation in Cinderella's Dress (Cinderella with Bubble vs. Cinderella in Chair) and Catalog photos of Cinderella in the Chair vs. the actual piece - The lighter dress in the catalog photo was based on the colors for the very first Cinderella piece. Thus making it a prototype as no production samples were availble for the photo shoot. The colors we have used on the new Cinderella piece sitting in the chair are more accurate to the film's original ink and paint colors. There is far too much contrast between the dress and the bodice in the first piece. Expertise in color matching techniques at the factory have improved greatly over the past several years. There were a few pieces where the dress was just as dark as the bodice but that inconsistency has been corrected.
She did not 'change dresses.' This was an overall improvement to our Cinderella sculpt. ~ Walt Disney Art Classics.
Blown Glass Soap Bubbles: Cinderella balances a bubble on hand; more are found in bucket.
Water: Clear glass-like resin is used to simulate water puddles around bucket and scrub brush.
Bucket Handle: Metal.

Mark

Each Walt Disney Classics Collection sculpture bears a backstamp with Walt Disney's signature and production year mark. The marks symbolize major milestones in Disney history. A production mark represents the calender year during which the particular piece is made. Individual sculptures of an open edition piece may carry different marks when production continues over the years.
